About
Indian food has become increasingly popular in Denmark over the years, thanks to the food lovers who have shared their enthusiasm for the diverse and delicious cuisine.
Despite the increasing popularity of Indian cuisine, many restaurants and takeaways often offer a watered-down version of Indian dishes that lack the richness and complexity of flavour that is characteristic of traditional Indian cooking. Pre-made spice mixes or artificial colour and flavourings are often used to create an imitation of Indian food that bears little resemblance to the real thing.
This lack of authentic Indian food abroad can be especially disappointing for those who have grown up with the rich and diverse cuisine of India and for those who want to explore this culinary diversity. This prompted a few Indian food lovers, who were born, grew up and stayed in different parts of India, to come together and to establish Tandoori Twist. From classic favourites like butter chicken and biryani to lesser-known regional specialties we intend to satisfy every palate.

We believe that food is not just about sustenance, but also about building connections and creating memories. For us, it’s about showing humility and respect our customers, to create your overall experience.
We also offer catering for parties or birthdays in our party-hall (selskabslokaler) or at your chosen place, depending on what suits you.
